Mount Anville Montessori Junior School’s evening at the Japanese Ambassador's Residence
On the 9th of March, I went to a Reception at the Japanese Ambassador's Residence with Ms Harvey, Ms O Donnell and three other girls from school. When we got there we shook hands with the Ambassador and his wife. The Ambassador made a speech in which he thanked us all for sending money to Japan during the time of the tsunami. His wife talked to our group and showed us the traditional Japanese schoolbag. Then, we had a buffet of hot and cold food and it was delicious. When we were leaving, the Ambassador told us we were all to get a present! I got a wooden doll. I enjoyed my time at the Reception and I would love to go again.
